The SRL-03 Bluetooth communication system was jointly created by Sena and Shoei specifically for the Shoei helmets. This low-profile device is essentially undetectable from the outside of the helmet to give you a sleek look. Pair to your smartphone so you can listen to music, hear GPS directions, take calls and more.

Link your Shoei communication system to the Sena Smartphone App (for iPhone and Android) to configure device settings and access the Quick Start Guide at the click of a button. It also connects to the Sena RideConnected app, so you can easily talk over the intercom with a virtually limitless number of riders over an infinite range while you are connected to a mobile network.

Designed specifically for Shoei helmets, the Sena SRL-3 Bluetooth and Mesh communication system is a custom fit communication system that features Sena’s innovative three-button design, along with a host of great features to make your time on the road more enjoyable. Comparatively smaller than it's predecessor, the custom design of the Sena SRL-3 system ensures a flush fit against the helmet, making for a low profile that won’t interfere with the aerodynamics of the helmet and retaining the sleek lines and profile of your Shoei helmet.

The Bluetooth 5.0 capability makes for a strong connection between your mobile devices for clear, concise communication, whether through your smartphone, your satellite navigation system or other compatible Bluetooth device. The dual Bluetooth chips allows for an intercom connection with up to four riders, so no rider gets left out of the party, ensuring that your riding group all get to share in the experience, wherever the destination might be. This strong Bluetooth connection allows the rider to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, such as connection to a mobile phone and a Bluetooth compatible GPS navigation system. This allows the rider to receive their GPS instructions and listen to music at the same time.

However, the party piece of the Sena SRL-3 is the new Mesh functionality. This exciting connection is described as ‘self-healing’, adapting to suit the needs of the riders and helping to solve some issues that have plagued Bluetooth communication units. The beauty of Adaptive Mesh Networking means that each rider is continuously linked to one another, rather than in the chain-like fashion of Bluetooth systems. The benefit of this is that if one rider leaves the group, the communication between the other riders within the group isn’t broken as is the case with some Bluetooth connections.

What’s more, if the rider who left the party re-joins later down the line, the Adaptive Mesh technology automatically reconnects them back into the party without having to stop and reconnect the devices. Plus, the Mesh functionality is always changing to improve connectivity to help optimise the strength of the connection for the clearest conversations.

The Adaptive Mesh feature also allows for selective group settings. You can connect with a virtually limitless amount of Sena Mesh Intercom users in Open Mesh function, or a condensed 24 riders in group mesh function. Plus, if you’re riding in a pack of six or more, the Sena SRL 3 system’s connection distance increases to 5 miles in optimal terrain.

Furthermore, the Sena SRL-3 belongs to the elite family of Sena Communication Systems that incorporate the premium audio of Harmon Kardon into their helmets.
