As long as you have the right type of foot (not overly wide) these boots are excellent. Comfortable right out of the box, they offer great protection for the road utilizing the excellent clamshell design. I have the discontinued Gore-Tex version as well which I'll reserve for the wet Winters and Springs here, using these lighter versions for the other two dry seasons.
