The Cordura outer construction of the gloves makes for hardwearing yet lightweight outer construction, perfect for motorcycle gloves and the ideal combination construction for motorcycle touring gloves. The Cordura outer is abrasion resistant, standing up to the intense situations that you’re likely to experience in a slide. The leather palm furthers the abrasion resistance, which is dual layered at the palm for further protection. In addition to the leather at the palm, an Amara overlay helps to provide additional grip on the handlebars when riding in wet weather. This Amara material stretches to the slide of the little finger and the lower palm too, furthering the lifespan of your new RST gloves and guaranteeing many seasons of riding.

Protection on these touring gloves comes in the form of TPU hard knuckle protection with as well as TPR protection at the fingers. These protections points help to reduce the impact energy felt at these areas, protecting your hands should the worst occur and furthering the protective elements motorcycle gloves. The TPU knuckle protection features a Ballistic textile overlay, furthering the abrasion resistance at the back of the glove without interrupting the textile touring glove aesthetic. At the lower palm of the glove, a scaphoid protection slider created in the same abrasion resistant TPU as the knuckle protection. This allows the hand to slide and keep moving, rather than grip the road and stick which forces the rest of the body weight to transfer to the hand which could cause breaks and fractures.

Hidden beneath the outer construction of the RST X-Raid glove is a SinAqua waterproof membrane, which limits water entry into the glove, even if you are caught out in the worst of the weather. The fact that this membrane is breathable ensures that water vapour can escape from within the gloves, eliminating the clammy hands than can occur with non-breathable membranes.

The pre-curved fingers of the RST X Raid glove minimise fatigue at the fingers, allowing you to ride for longer without the fear of cramp or achiness from battling the materials, making for a much more comfortable glove. Digital touch leather at the index finger of these motorcycle gloves means that you can operate your digital items without the need to remove the gloves. Accordion stretch panelling found at the fingers, thumbs and back of hand offer great flexibility and unrestricted movement when riding such as when reaching for the brake or clutch lever.

Finally, for the most secure closure, the RST X Raid gloves feature a twin Velcro closure system, making for a tailored fit each and every time you ride and adding a heavy duty aesthetic to these touring gloves.
