The MaxTex outer construction makes for a hardwearing outer and ideal for a textile motorcycle jacket, offering increased longevity and abrasion resistance should the jacket be subjected to a high speed slide across tarmac. Hidden beneath the outer construction are strategically placed armour pockets that house CE Approved armour. A CE Level 1 back protector, CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are all included as standard with the Maverick jacket, helping to cushion impacts at these areas and protect you should the worst occur. Passive protection comes in the form of Reflex reflective print found on both the front and rear of the jacket, designed to enhance your visibility when riding in wet weather conditions or when riding at night.

An interchangeable liner system makes the RST Maverick Jacket’s incredibly versatile, this textile motorcycle jacket can be tailored to the environment that you are riding in with ease. A SinAqua waterproof membrane and quilted thermal liner are found beneath the outer construction and can be utilised in a variety of ways; the outer on its own, outer with thermal liner, outer with waterproof liner or outer with both thermal and waterproof linings. The interchangeable liners ensure that whatever the weather is throwing at you, the RST Maverick Jacket is ready for it.

For additional durability and longevity, RST have chosen to use MAX zippers on this vented motorcycle jacket, the very same that are found on RST’s Pro Series Adventure Jackets. Additionally, you’ll find a 360° connection zipper at the waist of the jacket, allowing you seamlessly zip into any compatible RST trouser with a compatible zipper. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac.
