EBC HPSR Solid Brake Disc (MD1006)
EBC brake discs. MADE IN UK. Objective in the development is to improve the braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC used HPSR steel with a low carbon content, having a higher coefficient of friction by 18%.
This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. In addition, the entire surface with a 3-micron thick zinc coating is protected, the already abrades itself when decelerating in the brake pad contact zone. Only in this area, light surface rust can form after long use.
