Sports styled, versatile and at a fantastic price, the new RST Axis jacket is the perfect all-round textile motorcycle jacket. No frills or fuss, the RST Axis jacket offers protection and functionality at a modest price point.

The MaxTex outer construction makes for a robust outer and ideal for a textile motorcycle jacket, offering increased longevity and abrasion resistance should the jacket be subjected to a high speed slide across tarmac. Further not only the protection but your peace of mind, the seams of this RST textile jacket are double and tripled stitched with a bonded nylon thread, minimising the risk of any blowouts or seam failure on the jacket. Hidden beneath the outer construction are strategically placed armour pockets that house CE Approved armour. A CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are all included as standard with the Axis textile jacket, helping to cushion impacts at these areas and protect you should the worst occur. A pocket is included to accommodate a CE Approved back protector should you choose to add one at a later stage.

Beneath the outer of this RST textile jacket lies a SinAqua waterproof lining, a waterproof and breathable membrane designed to keep you dry should you find yourself caught in the rain. The membrane is breathable, allowing water vapour to escape from within the jacket and letting you arrive at your destination fresh and dry, inside and out. In additional to wet weather protection, a removable quilted thermal lining within the jacket offers protection from the cold weather, providing an additional insulation layer to your new jacket and letting you ride further into the cooler months of the year without issue. This thermal liner is easily removed from within the jacket and leaves you with a lightweight summer textile jacket and arm and waist adjustment points offer the ability to tighten the jacket to accommodate from the removed thermal liner or expand to accommodate an additional layer beneath the jacket when riding in much colder weather.

MAX zips are used throughout the jacket for a secure and reliable closure system; a central zipper closes the jacket as well as zipped exterior pockets. Internal pockets provide storage space for any items that you may need when out on the road such as mobile phone, wallet etc. Zipped vented areas allow for direct cool air flow into the jacket and zipped exhaust vents allow efficiently cooling too. Additionally, you’ll find a 360° connection zipper at the waist of the jacket, allowing you seamlessly zip into any compatible RST trouser with a compatible zipper. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac.
