The MaxTex outer construction makes for a robust outer and ideal for a textile motorcycle jacket, offering increased longevity and abrasion resistance should the jacket be subjected to a high speed slide across tarmac. Further not only the protection but your peace of mind, the seams of this RST textile jacket are double and tripled stitched with a bonded nylon thread, minimising the risk of any blowouts or seam failure on the jacket. Hidden beneath the outer construction are strategically placed armour pockets that house CE Approved armour. A CE Level 1 back protector, CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are all included as standard with the Tractech Evo 4 textile jacket, helping to cushion impacts at these areas and protect you should the worst occur. Further enhancing the sports styling of the jacket, the Tractech Evo 4 jacket comes complete with TPU shoulder cups, similar to those found at the shoulders of RST’s one-piece racing suits, offering additional abrasion resistance and protection at this area.

Beneath the outer construction of this RST textile jacket lies a SinAqua waterproof, breathable membrane. This waterproof membrane is fixed to the jacket and offers year-round weather protection, ensuring that you stay dry even if you find yourself in the worst of the weather. The SinAqua membrane within this RST textile jacket is breathable too, allowing water vapour to escape from within the jacket without compromising the waterproofing nature of the jacket. In addition to the waterproof lining is a quilted thermal lining, offering an additional insulation layer when riding in cooler conditions, letting you continue your riding even into the autumn months too. This quilted thermal lining with the jacket is easily removable, adding an element of versatility to the jacket and keeping you cooler when riding in the summer. A fixed mesh comfort lining within the jacket makes for a comfortable environment to spend the day in, whether you’re on your commute to work or heading to a bike meet with friends.

For additional durability and longevity, RST have chosen to use MAX zippers on this vented motorcycle jacket, the very same that are found on RST’s Pro Series Jackets. Additionally, you’ll find a 360° connection zipper at the waist of the jacket, allowing you seamlessly zip into any compatible RST trouser with a compatible zipper. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac.

Accordion stretch panelling at the rear of the jacket in the shoulder area offer freedom of movement in this RST textile jacket, whether you’re riding your bike or walking around when off the bike while adjustable points at the arms and waist allow you to tailor the fit of the jacket to your needs, letting you accommodate an additional layer underneath the jacket when riding in the winter or tightening the fit when the quilted thermal lining is removed from within the jacket. Two outer pockets and an internal pocket offer storage opportunities for the essentials you may need when on your ride.
