Hopefully this will help seal the tank.
As it has been very cold since I got the product, haven’t had any chance to try it out yet.

Beware, I purchased Petseal Ultra from another supplier (eBay), it appears to be the same product as supplied by the visor shop. I coated a new bare-metal tank.
The product went on well and dried to a hard smooth clear finish. It was left to dry thoroughly for 6 months.
In went E5 petrol. However a few months later I noticed the coating had wrinkled-up and was tacky to the touch.
Over time the coating deteriorated further and it appeared the ethanol content was dissolving the Petseal and when the engine was running, it was coating the inside of the carburettor and the inlet valves with a sticky residue, causing them to jam.
It’s an absolute mess. Petseal, doesn’t appear to be ethanol proof and I don’t believe Petseal Ultra has been properly tested long-term against fuel containing ethanol.
I haven’t dared use the E10 grade.
According to Companies House, Petseal appear to have stopped trading - how odd; just when their product should be most in demand.
Petseal may have been a good product for sealing the old petrol grades against rust, but it’s not ethanol proof and my experience shows it appears to be soluble in ethanol.

There is not enough liquid hardner giving. As a result I had to spend over two hours rotating my tank until it went abit tacking. It was also done on a warm day so it was at the right temperature. They should add double the amount of hardner.
