Beneath the cowhide leather exterior lies strategically placed armour pockets, with CE approved Level 1 armour at the shoulders, elbows and back as standard. These dedicated armour pieces help to protect these areas if the worst occurs, effectively dissipating impact energy, protecting the areas beneath them. In addition to the CE armour, TPU cups are featured on the exterior shoulders of this jacket, mirroring the Tractech Evo 4 one-piece suit, helping the rider slide in the event of an off and adding increased protection at this area.
Despite its sports cut, the Tractech Evo 4 leather jacket features Samtex fabric and accordion leather stretch panelling, offering free range of movement when off the bike when you arrive at your destination as well as unrestricted movement when riding on track too, allowing you to hang off the bike when cornering. Of course, the jacket retains its shape when returning to your tucked position down the straights. An aerodynamic race hump can be found at the rear of the jacket, perfectly channelling air down your back when riding at speed.
Backing up the sports styling, this RST leather jacket features a leather racing collar and rolled leather cuffs, offering comfort at the neck and wrist on longer rides and limiting irritation at these areas when racing. In addition to this, a fixed mesh comfort lining makes getting the suit on and off easier and makes for a comfortable environment to spend the day in. Thanks to perforated panel ventilation, direct cool airflow into the jacket keeps you cool when riding in warmer temperatures while the thermal gilet adds an extra insulation layer for riding in cooler climates. This thermal gilet is removable and is easily stripped away from the jacket when the situation calls for it.
