Fitted to rear of 890 Dukr R to replace standard Power Cup.
seems to work fine with front Power Cup still fitted to front.Seems to warm up quick.Nice and grippy and stable.Bike turns in lovely.Got caught in proper downpour on Sunday ride and tyre was great.Felt really safe and confidence inspiring.Grip leevels were really good.All in all really chuffed.See how long it lasts compared to sporty Power Cup.Great tyre.

They tip in a lot quicker than my former Avon Storm XDs which takes a bit of getting used to, but grip well near the limit on a heavy bike (Kawasaki GTR1400).

Ridden in the damp and similar feeling to the dry. Yet to ride in the wet or on the limit

When I tell people this they think I must be riding like a moped. I really don't, but my last Road 5 rear lasted 16,000 miles. No squaring off and no chicken strips. It was still legal but I felt like it was starting to squirm - reasonable since half its thickness was gone. I've just bought a front for stock since I will need to switch soon. However I have passed the 8000 mile mark in the existing one. Considering I do a lot of urban riding so there is a lot of front wheel breaking, that's not doing too bad.

Getting now third set of those tires. Have tried other brands but definitely best grip regardless weather conditions.

I bought these as the bike I recently bought FZ1s came fitted with Bridgestone RS10’s and I honestly thought they were bald until I looked into them further. Yes they were nice and sticky and would suit a rider using them for track fun. However this is a weekend all weather toy and them RS10’s offered what felt like zero grip in anything other than hot dry tarmac. Also they had covered just 2000 miles and were looking incredibly worn. A bit of shopping around and reading up I settled for these Michelin Pilot road 5’s. I’ve only just finished scrubbing the tyres in but already the reel on the road in all weathers fills you with confidence. Some straight line hard acceleration and the back end just sits and squats no fish tailing like I had experienced with the Rs10’s. Can’t review longevity just yet as covered about 300 miles so far but so far so good and thoroughly enjoying the new bike as it should be.

But for the good stuff ... bra these tires lean hard ...every turn u do u just wanna get it hard and low... these tires r at home in the turns
Dry performance is amazing
Monsoon season is coming up in Arizona where I’m at so I can’t wait to take this out in the rain.... i’ll let you guys know how they handle in wet conditions
All in all the tires are amazing The price is high but the quality is super high I’m never getting any other time except for these from now on

This is my second front Pr5's , have previously used other tyre brands including Michelin and I can only say that it's worth paying extra if you use your bike all year round. Dual compound tyres make it work during sunny summer days as well wet wintery weather days.
I managed to get just over 10k from my last Michelin PR5 and can say that they grip really well.
Used on Yamaha fz6 mostly commuting on journeys up to 1hr

Bought these to replace Metzeler Roadtecs on my 2016 BMW R1200r w/c. With advice from BMW I chose standard over the heavy weight option as I ride solo with light luggage. Right from the off, they make the bike lighter to steer and after a 120 mile scrub in ride there is only the narrowest chicken strips left. I've done a further 200 miles and they have transformed my riding confidence over the Metzelers. I've had Pilot road 4s on this bike previously and though very good I think it's worth paying extra for the road 5s. Service from The Visor Shop was excellent as always. Only issue was my pair of tyres were taped with very sticky tape which was the devil to remove from the tyres.

Fitted to my 2014 VFR800 in place of the standard Battlax T30 evo. So far it feels very good and much more direct in the initial turn in (something to get used to). I use the bike all year round and expect the tyre to perform well in all conditions, so far (very wet winter) im not disappointed.

Great tyre good date on the tyre so not old stock compared many sites the visor shop was the cheapest. A little bit longer on delivery from other sites I use but not long enough to bother me. Would recommend and will use again.

I have been using The Visor Shop for my tyres for a few years now, prices are great and delivery is fast, can't fault them! The Pilot Road 5's are brilliant tyres, I will be replacing them with the same again when they wear out.

The visor shop has the best price for these tires. Locally everyone else wanted 400-500. The tires themselves are wonderful and I haven’t finished breaking them in yet for the first 100 miles.

I have had many sets of Michelin Road 5s on my 2009 Honda Fireblade and my 2017 Kawasaki Z1000SX. They steer really well, last for at least 5,000 miles and grip like limpets in wet and dry.

Second set of Road 5s after using Michelin PR4s and PR3s. Tyres are very much a personal choice and I'm happy with the brand. The 5s offer great wet grip and durability.

Brilliant so far on my GSX S1000F but haven't had it out on wet rds yet Excellent grip on full lean angle.
Stable at high speeds.

Replaced as didn't like my stock tyres. These have given me confidence again. I almost gave up riding thinking it was me but now I feel I should have bought these earlier 👍

damp wet conditions you can really push....... my bike bmw s1000xr never let go once...lets see how many miles they can do ....sports adventure riders get them bought!!!!

I have over 3k worth of miles on these tires for my gen 2 Hayabusa and they still look new. They handle great in wet weather and have plenty of grip.

These tires are awesome. Put them on 15 Kawasaki 650 Ninja and they ride great and they grip the road excellent in turns. I would highly recommend these tires.

had these tyres less than a week put less than 200 miles on them they grip well in dry and rain time will tell how long they last .very fast shipping too
