The HTC textile outer construction is ideal for motorcycle clothing; the high tenacity Nylon fabric that combines excellent levels of abrasion resistance and tear strength whilst remaining highly supple, very flexible and brilliantly comfortable. The leather at the palm furthers the abrasion resistance of the glove, with dual layer leather at the palm which is double stitched to increase the strength at an area that can be subjected to intense abrasion. Amara textile overlays at the palm increase grip when riding in poor weather conditions while the TPU knuckle protection limits impact energy at the back of the hand.
Hidden beneath the outer construction of the RST Atlas glove is a SinAqua waterproof membrane, which limits water entry into the glove, even if you are caught out in the worst of the weather. The fact that this membrane is breathable ensures that water vapour can escape from within the gloves, eliminating the clammy hands than can occur with non-breathable membranes. At the outer index fingers of the gloves are visor wipers, designed to help you clear your visor of rainwater or other precipitation when riding in wet weather.
The pre-curved fingers of these waterproof motorcycle gloves minimise fatigue at the fingers, allowing you to ride for longer without the fear of cramp or achiness from battling the materials, making for a much more comfortable glove. Digital touch leather at the index finger of these motorcycle gloves means that you can operate your digital items without the need to remove the gloves. Accordion stretch panelling found at the fingers, thumbs and back of hand offer great flexibility and unrestricted movement when riding such as when reaching for the brake or clutch lever.
Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing at the back of the hand, front of the knuckles and the length of the index fingers, helping to increase your visibility when riding at night. The dual Velcro closure points make for a secure, reliable closure system that won’t wear out over continued use while the drawstring closure helps to tighten around your jacket sleeve, keeping water out and heat in when you need it most.
