Optimate TM72 12v Bike and Car Socket Connector.
This special accessory plug lead for use with Accumates and Optimates with TM connectors allows connection to standard car cigarette lighter sockets and also to small 12v accessory sockets fitted to some BMW, Ducati, Honda and Triumph Motorcycles by removing the red sleeve.
It allows easy connection of an Accumate (or pre 2012 Optimate) to a cars cigarette lighter socket or a motorcycle accessory socket. It is of particular use for any vehicles where use of the standard fused permanent lead is not practical for any reason.
NOTE - Before ordering, please check that your cigarette lighter or power is live when the ignition is off. The accessory plug lead is wired for Negative Earth vehicles.
This lead will work with:
- Accumate
- Accumate Pro
- Accumate Pro 5
- Optimate (all 2000-2011)
- Optimate Pro-8 (pre 2010)
- Optimate Pro-2
- Optimate Pro-S
- Optimate Pro-8-S (via converter leads)
This lead does not fit Optimate I or Optimate II Pre September 2000.
If your optimate has the SAE compatible connector you will need SAE72.
