Tech Wash is water based and eco friendly, and can be used to clean jackets, fleeces, baselayers and most other outdoor clothing. It removes dirt and detergent residue leaving water-repellency intact and is ideal for protecting the water-repellency on new garments. TX Direct is a fantastic eco-friendly wash-in re-proofing agent which helps maintain the durable water repellent coating on your waterproof and water resistant garments.

The benefits of the Nikwax WaterBased technology:
Nikwax is easy to use
It´s simple to apply. For instance; for clothing just use in a washing machine on a normal wash cycle. Garments do not have to be tumble-dried to activate water repellency and there is no need to wait for a clean; wet garment to dry before waterproofing with Nikwax.

No propellant gases; non-persistant; environmentally safe.

Our WaterBased products offer higher concentrations of waterproofing agents than aerosol products… up to 5 times more concentrated.
