Just received these boots after searching for something for touring use.
They are made from the 'top grain' leather apparently which is durable. The downside to this is that they are brushed to mask inevitable imperfections. So they are what's called 'Nubuck'. They look smart but bear in mind that they will get wet and a bit muddy unless you are riding in perfect weather!! They won't polish up like chrome leather so bear that in mind.
These boots are an excellent buy and I think very good value,I have purchased them for winter riding and they are an excellent fit despite wearing heated socks.I would recommend them and THEVISORSHOP who WERE very helpful when I had a small query regarding size.
