They are comfortable and fit true to size. They're easy to walk in and look stylish enough to wear all day in the office so a great option for a commuter boot. Externally, they do seem a bit chunkier than a normal everyday boot so I am more aware of them but it doesn't put me off wearing them off the bike.

The laces are a bit of a pain, they're incredibly long; much longer than they need to be and I find myself having to tuck the excess under the tongue out of the way as I'm scared they'll snag on the bike or get caught and stop me from putting a foot down at the lights - I've actually just ditched the laces in favour of Hickes and they're much better now.

I haven't worn them in the wet yet so can't comment on their WP ability although I have no doubt they'll be ok. The flip side to that is that they're not very breathable, if at all, so do get very toasty and sweaty in warmer weather and I find I can't wait to take them off and get some air round my feet.

Being a shorter boot protection is fairly basic. The toe box, heel and ankle cups feel solid enough but the sole is still quite flexible and the rest of the boot feels ok but not massively strong.

All that said, it's a decent commuter boot that's waterproof (for the time I take that at face value), looks good and is comfortable enough to wear all day, except in warm weather, and won't break the bank then this is a good choice. Get some shorter laces or some Hickies, though, as the laces supplied are way too long.
