Rukka's Kallavesi trousers have been designed to be the matching lower half for the company’s adventure-style Kallavesi jacket. As with the jacket, the GORE-TEX® Pro 3-layer membrane is laminated to the outer shell which, in this case, is an abrasion and tear-resistant polyamide shell. For added strength, the knees have an additional layer of Armacor. For breathability, you get vents on the thighs. D30’s Air XTR armour comes as standard in the hips and knees. For warmth, there’s a 60g. liner that contains Outlast® for temperature regulation. The seat of the pants uses Rukka’s Air Cushion system for comfort. What also makes the pants easier to wear are the stretch panels in the groin, above the knees, and in the back yoke. Whilst leather panels in the rear and down the inside of the legs protect the rider from abrasion and heat. The leather also reduces saddle-sliding! Most of the other stuff is detail, albeit the kind of detail one only really expects from Rukka. Waterproof pockets. Connecting zip. Adjustable belt at the waist. Wide leg bottoms that close with Velcro®. Heavy-duty braces.
