Pin Lock inserts are a great addition to you visor as the stop your visor steaming up, especially in the winter months. You can go into a chip shop with your helmet on & your visor will steam up around the outside but not the section where the pin lock insert is sitting. I would not be without my pin lock inserts in both of my helmets.

Don't buy anything but the silicon bead version!

I previously had the basic clear versions (purchased directly from Nolan) and they do not seal against the visor. Moisture gets between them and the visor. Soon, vibrations cause them to scratch the inside of the visor, damaging both.

The pinlock inserts that I have for all my other helmets all have the silicon bead and work great.

I recently purchased the silicon bead version (along with a new visor) and they now work as expected - no issues.
