One of the hottest items from the International Motorcycle, Scooter, and E-Bike Fair (Intermot) was the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet. When it was unveiled in Germany it was shown to have several incredibly cool features that were not applicable to previous iterations. Most notably, it was announced that this helmet would come with a free Transitions photochromatic visor and the ability to house a Sena SMH-10 Bluetooth communication unit (with the proper adapter plate). Both of these features will offer a massive value-add to an already popular helmet. The Cardo Scala Rider Q3 intercom system can also be used with this helmet using a specially designed Adapter plate.

The worst aspect is the upper vent rattle loudly in the closed position. Extremely annoying. If I could have test ride this helmet before purchasing I would not have made the purchase. If you expect a quieter helmet, this will disappoint. Having owned relatively inexpensive helmets already, (2 scorpion, 1 THH, 1 HJC and the Sens outrush 4) there is nothing about the qualifier dlx that justifies the $$$.
