The Knox Meta-sys back protector features Knox's 2nd generation hybrid technology. The combination of a hard Polypropylene outer shell to help dissipate impact and soft Flexiform+ inner layer for superior energy absorption. This unique dual compound design absorbs massive amounts of energy and easily exceeds the EN1621-2 requirements for level 2 CE certification.
The Meta-Sys is designed in four separate sections which move independently enabling the wearer to freely move and twist in almost any direction. The Meta-Sys also grows in length when in the crouched position which helps maintain protection over the whole back while riding.

At the core of the FastBack is a full-length CE-approved back protector that covers the spine and shoulder blades and is manufactured by Knox to surpass the tough new EN1621-2 standard (Level 1).
The back protector utilises a Venturi cooling system, a simple yet ingenious design consisting of ridges that act like chimneys to draw hot air up and away from the body.
